AfroPunk’s ‘Blktopia’ was a fully immersive, Afrofuturist environment — towering LED walls, a mannequin ‘Black Future Now’ gallery, interactive vision-bridge installations, and a reflecting-pool centerpiece. As Technical Director, Revolutionary Lighting was the backbone that made the spectacle possible: power planning for a wall-to-wall LED and AV load, rigging, crew, logistics, and the gear rentals and prep behind every screen and fixture.
It is the kind of build where the technology has to disappear into the experience. Visitors walked through a seamless future-world; behind it sat the power, structure, and crew coordination that kept dozens of displays and immersive elements running across a multi-day festival.
