For the grand opening of Artist House, a new recording studio in New York City built as a home for emerging artists, Revolutionary Lighting designed and supplied the lighting for a launch party that doubled as a live showcase. Using Astera tubes and ARRI SkyPanels, the design moved fluidly between two jobs in one night: a polished performance stage and an immersive party space.
Cool blues and magentas washed the studio’s sculptural cloud-baffle ceiling and architecture, while accent fixtures framed the stage for live sets and bathed the corridors in color to carry the atmosphere through the entire venue. The result matched the ambition of the space itself — a refined, high-energy environment fit for a studio destined to become a hub for the next generation of artists. The night featured live performances from Izzy Escobar and Princess Nokia.
