For the BAPE × KidSuper collaboration launch, Revolutionary Lighting designed and supplied the lighting for a live workshop activation in Brooklyn — transforming the KidSuper studio into an immersive, hands-on event space where guests screenprinted their own pieces using graphics from the drop. Rather than a passive unveiling, the activation brought people inside the creative process, and the lighting set the tone: saturated magenta and acid-green washes that turned a raw concrete space into something part gallery, part working studio, and entirely on-brand.
The concept carried real weight — years ago, KidSuper’s Colm Dillane was printing shirts by hand and selling them outside BAPE drops; here the two brands met on an official release. Revolutionary Lighting shaped the atmosphere for that full-circle moment, lighting multiple distinct zones — the retail display, the screenprinting floor, and the green ‘KidSuper Alterations’ room — each with its own mood inside a single cohesive event.
